Climate varies across Vietnam’s length. Northern regions shine in spring from March to May with mild temperatures around 20-25°C and blooming landscapes. Autumn from September to November brings clear skies and cooler evenings suitable for Hanoi walks or Sapa treks. Summers turn hot and humid, whereas winters chill mountains.

Southern areas favour the dry season from December to April. You can expect consistent warmth at 25-30°C for beach days in Nha Trang or Mekong excursions on Vietnam tours. Rainy months from May to November bring short showers but lavish greenery. Central Vietnam aligns somewhat with the south but sees typhoons occasionally in the latter part of the year.

Choose based on activities. Are you interested in cultural sightseeing? Opt for northern shoulder seasons. Craving magnificent beach escapes? Then southern dry periods will work best.
