The largest archipelago on Earth

Indonesia is a remarkable country to visit, with a fascinating mix of traditions, cuisines and cultures to suit all sorts of travellers. It is home to some of the world’s most unusual wildlife, including Komodo dragons, orangutans, rhinoceros, dolphins, manta rays, and many more.

This beautiful country is world famous because of Bali, an exquisite island known for its beautiful beaches, laid-back vibe and green rice fields. While Bali never fails to captivate visitors, the pristine Lombok is becoming an increasingly popular alternative due to its spectacular beaches, volcanoes, waterfalls and the beautiful Gili Islands.

Experience Ubud’s must-see attractions, including the Batuan Temple, a traditional Hindu temple built in the classical Balinese style, the Tegenungan Waterfall with picturesque views and lush green surroundings, the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, a popular stop for nature lovers with terraced rice paddies, and the sacred Ubud Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a protected reserve and home to hundreds of long-tailed Balinese macaques (monkeys), all in our Essentials itinerary. In addition to Ubud, you will also have the opportunity to spot giant turtles around the Gili Islands and stay on Bali’s top beaches in Nusa Dua in the same itinerary.

Choose our Explorer itinerary and stay at a premium beachside hotel on one of Bali’s islands, Nusa Lembongan and snorkel with manta rays in secluded waters.

If you want to see Jakarta, the city of various cultures, commute to Yogyakarta, the city of fantastic art and stunning architecture, by train, move up Mount Bromo, an active volcano, to see the sunrise above the clouds, and fly to Denpasar, Bali’s capital, to enjoy crystal clear waters, then our Adventurer itinerary is for you.

When to visit Indonesia?

The dry season, which begins in May and ends in October, is the perfect time to visit Indonesia since the weather is warm and pleasant throughout most islands, including Bali and Sulawesi. The sky is blue, and the waters are calm during this time, so you should have no trouble travelling between the islands.

To avoid significant tourist crowds and get the best accommodation deals you should see the country during May, June, and September.
