The best time to visit South Africa depends on your goals, but the months with the best weather are April to May and September to October, when conditions are pleasant and great for outdoor adventure.
During the peak season, which runs from November to March, expect to see a lot of visitors. As this is the holiday time in South Africa, safaris and national parks will be very busy.
The perfect time to visit Kruger and other wildlife parks is from April to September. It can be rainy and warm from November to February, but this is the right time to visit for birdwatching. If you plan to Whale watch, visit between July and November.
