When to visit Kenya & Tanzania?

Two of the world’s most highly ranked safari locations, Tanzania, and Kenya, offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience throughout the year.

Visiting the summer months from June to October is ideal. This time of year has consistent weather and excellent safari conditions. It also attracts the most tourists because many prefer mild temperatures over hot, humid, rainy seasons.

If saving money on safaris and accommodations is your goal, visiting during the wet seasons from November to May might be your best option. During this time of year, many holiday tourists travel to East Africa, meaning prices are lower and special off-peak rates are available.
